🔒 Your document never leaves your device. Only its unique fingerprint is registered.
The moment you share a document, you lose control—and questions can later arise about who created it and when.
Before you send it, DocDOB it.

DocDOB creates an independent registration recording the document, who registered it, and when.
From Registration to Verification
- Step 1
Upload your document
Select the document you want to register.
- Step 2
Enter your name
This is the name that will appear on the permanent registration record.
- Step 3
Document analysis
Your document is securely analysed to identify its substance.
- Step 4
Digital fingerprint created
DocDOB creates a unique digital fingerprint that identifies your document's substance. That fingerprint is a short code generated from the contents of the document. Even the smallest meaningful change to the document produces a different fingerprint.
- Step 5
We keep the fingerprint—not the document
DocDOB records only the fingerprint, together with your registration details and the date and time of registration. The uploaded document is permanently discarded after it has been analysed.
- Step 6
Your Registration Certificate is issued
Your document's fingerprint, your registered name, and the exact date and time are permanently recorded in the independent DocDOB registry. You immediately receive a Registration Certificate containing that information.
- Step 7
Why this matters
If your work is ever questioned or disputed, anyone with the document or its Registration Certificate can independently verify that it matches the original registration.
